About Us

Wild About Elephants is a passionate company who is championing a new way of doing business. As the sister company of Present Company we continue to “do something different” whilst giving back to world as much as we can.

This website is an Elephant lover’s dream, because not only do we stock products from all over the globe, they are all ethically sourced and many are fairly traded. They are exclusively elephant designs. We have everything from homewares to gifts, stationery and beyond and it is our intention to grow our product ranges.

We are proud to say that we financially support Elephant Family – a charity who work hard every day to care for, sponsor and save the Asian Elephant. For every item that is sold on the website, we make a contribution to this wonderful and inspiring charity. You can find out more about them on the their website. Elephant Family

Many of the products on this website have been designed by our in house team. We work hard to design some beautiful items and we never compromise on the quality. We deal directly with our suppliers in countries including: Indonesia, India, Nepal and Thailand and have long standing and close relationships with many of them. This type of employment helps to maintain small economic communities; allowing people to remain in their own villages, instead of having to seek work in the larger cities.

They are able to stay at home with their families and operate their businesses self-sufficiently instead of dealing with the poor conditions in the cities and where family/community support is mostly non-existent. We pay our suppliers a percentage up front, allowing them to source materials and take on additional craftspeople to fulfil our orders. This also helps them avoid loan sharks who seek harsh interest rates from small and vulnerable businesses.

We aim to show and describe our products in an accurate manner. However, because of the variance of screen settings, we cannot guarantee 100% that images will reflect the true colour of a product. All measurements are accurate - although this is always a challenge with products that are totally handmade. In such cases, a slight variation of size and/or colour is to be expected.
